A tablet that has not yet been unveiled at CES this week is the Samsung Galaxy Tab Lite, or the SM-T111. Many signs indicate a rapid arrival of this budget tablet from Samsung, including FCC approval that the tablet mentions. The publication in GFXbench shows us that the Samsung Galaxy Tab Lite has a 1024 x 600 screen, confirming earlier rumors. Also notable is that the clock speed is not too high, with a maximum of 1.2 GHz. What processor used is not known, but we assume a budget dual-core or quad-core version, the witness Vivante GC1000 GPU which is also incorporated into the chip. This graphics processor we see regularly in little tale tablets of B-and even C-note. Examples include tablets from Ainol and Ramos we (fortunately) rarely or never encounter in Dutch shops.
